Terms of Service

RUA Reports ("the service") is provided by Postal Systems OÜ, an Estonian company, as part of EmailEngine. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. What the service does

The service receives DMARC aggregate reports and SMTP TLS reports (TLS-RPT) for domains you add to your account, stores and processes them, shows the results on a dashboard, and can optionally host the MTA-STS policy for your domains. It is offered free of charge.

2. Your account

You must provide a working email address and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account. You may only add domains that you control or are authorised to monitor. We may close accounts that abuse the service, send unlawful content, or attempt to interfere with its operation.

3. Data retention is best-effort

Report data retention is best-effort. We do not guarantee that received or processed report data is stored for any period of time. When the system is overloaded or storage is constrained, report data (raw report files, per-message detail and aggregated statistics, in that order) may be evicted without prior notice. Your account, your domain list and your settings are never removed by eviction.

In normal operation raw report files are kept for about a week, per-message detail for about five weeks and daily statistics for about thirteen months. These periods can change without notice.

4. Hosted MTA-STS

If you enable hosted MTA-STS for a domain, the service publishes the policy you configure at the address you point at it and obtains a certificate for that name. You are responsible for the policy content, in particular for the consequences of the "enforce" mode. You can stop hosting at any time by disabling it or by removing the DNS records.

5. No warranty

The service is provided as is, without any warranty of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Reports may be delayed, lost or misparsed. Do not rely on the service as your only record of DMARC or TLS-RPT data. To the extent permitted by law, Postal Systems OÜ is not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

6. Changes and termination

We may change these terms, change or discontinue the service, or delete inactive accounts. Material changes to the terms are announced on the site and require re-acceptance at your next sign-in. You can delete your account, and all data attached to it, at any time from the security settings.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes are settled in the courts of Estonia.
